Mayowa Kuyoro is a Partner in McKinsey’s Lagos office and leads the West African Financial Institutions Practice. She has extensive experience across West, South and East Africa serving major institutions on topics related to large strategic transformations and policy. She also has experience in helping financial institutions develop product strategies and value propositions for the mass market including credit, savings etc. She also co-leads the Fintech and Innovation practice on the continent.
Prior to McKinsey, she worked at Roha Ventures in Ethiopia, at Atlas Mara CoNvest in the United States, and at Commonwealth Bank in Australia. Mayowa has an M.Eng. from the University of Warwick and an MBA from Harvard University. She enjoys swimming, running and travelling. Along with fluency in English, she speaks two other languages.”
